TCG Goddess : The Convergence

Hello everyone,

For this update, the news from May are disappointing: maritime traffic problems are making the situation even more complicated than it was at the start of the year, as you can see from the image below :

Since January, the geopolitical conflicts surrounding the Red Sea (Suez Canal and Bab el-Mandeb) have been slowing down maritime traffic. In some cases, traffic is even at a standstill, as was our case for several weeks. We didn't expected thoses delays. Some boats are forced to cancel their transit or to turn back, but fortunately this is not our case.

If you do a simple Google search, you'll probably come to the same conclusion as we did: maritime blockages around the Red Sea persist and we're totally powerless in this situation, so the only thing we can do today is: wait.

Fortunately, our shipping company (Shining Ocean) gives us regular updates, and as it's one of the biggest company, it's a part of priority traffic. Our delivery date has been pushed back again, and is now scheduled for mid-July. If we can remain positive, we can be happy that the merchandise is not compromised, and that our beloved and beautiful cards will indeed be with us very soon. What a hellish journey!

As always, we thank you for your understanding and your confidence. To prove that the wait is well deserved, here are a few photos and videos of what await you.
PS: at our request, the videos were taken at different stages of production, before the rank was inlaid, before the varnish was applied, before the final packaging, etc...

Quick April update

This is not the next news item, but a quick update after the April news.

I've just spoken to the manager in charge of transport, and he told me that the products are still being stored in their warehouses, as the departure by ship is finally scheduled for the end of next week.

With an expected journey time of around 1 month, this pushes back the planned delivery date to late May/early June.

For those of you unfamiliar with Kickstarter campaigns, this kind of delay of a few weeks is quite common in this type of project, so there's nothing abnormal and nothing to worry about :)

We promised we'd let you know the shipping date as soon as we had it, and now we have!

Early April update

Hello everyone,

We were expecting some important news from the printer this week before writing to you, but we didn't get it in the end. The cards aren't completely finished yet, as the Sylvania era still has to be finished. According to the news from the printer about 10 days ago, the Sylvania cards were finished, but not the boxes.
Apparently, there was a 10-day delay during the month of March, due to a machine problem.

All other products are finished, display, playmat, sleeves, etc...
The merchandise should have been shipped by next week, but with the 10-day delay, the Sylvania-era packaging that must surely be in progress, and since we didn't get the product photos (which we'd normally expect this week), I'm guessing the products won't be able to ship next week, but maybe the week after.

We should receive, within a few days, photos of all the final products and the shipping date from China. At the time of writing, therefore, we'd say we should have the products in the course of May, which shifts the planned shipping date by about 15 days, perhaps a little more if customs takes a while to release the goods.

We can still show you the playmats, finished over a month ago. They're exceptional, compared with other playmats we've seen or touched, they're very thick, quite heavy, and the reinforced edges give them excellent strength.

We'd have liked to show you photos of the cards, boxes and boosters today, and to announce the shipment of the products, but that's finally for the next news, which we'll send you as soon as we have the expected information!

February update

Hi everybody,

Only good news for this update and nice things to show you !

All the design step is now finished and all files have been sent to the printer since last week. Next week, they should start to print. Regarding the quantity (of cards, binders, sleeves, playmats, boxes...) the printing process will take between 4 and 5 weeks. They will than send us the products, at the end of march, with 30 days of shipping time by boat, so the expected schedule (end of April) should be okay on the whole :)

Bellow, you will find some new cards, this will probably be the last cards we reveal, to let you the pleasure to discover the rest :)
You will also find in this update some previews of the boosters and displays.

At the end of the news, you will find a short video to let you see how the final products looks like... and I spoil you a little bit to tell you that THEY ARE GORGEOUS ! We are really excited to see them between your hands, in tournement or just for your personnal collection :)

Another important point : since we received the final sample, we decided to change the design of the display and of the booster. On the video, you will see a black display (Sylvania edition) and a white booster (Divinia Edition). We wanted to try both styles and we decided to keep the white design. Display will looks like this :

Plus, on each Display you will find the list of all cards of this era for the current season, with the Goddess name and her unique serial number. Here is an example with the Fantasia era :

To finish this news, we want to remind that a dozen of you didn't fill the Pledge Manager on BackerKit and don't answer to our emails. We don't have the missing adresses and the shipping fees are not covered, so we won't be able to ship your parcel. To solve this situation, just send us a message (by email, KS, Discord, website...) and we will send you a payment link.

Very last thing : please try to double-check before reporting us as fraudulent payment. Stripe makes an automatic refund and take back from our account your shipping cost plus $23/20€ as dispute fees.
Unfortunatly, we can't afford to lose this amount on one payment, so if you suspend your payment by mistake, we'll have to ask you not only to pay your shipping costs, but also to refund the disput fees.

That's said, let's show you the good part ! By the way, if you notice that the cards below have no ranks, that's normal since this designs are extracted from the final designs, and the ranks is added later, with hot foil stamping. Plus, on the cards below, the serial number are volunteerly generic and fake.

Pledge manager closure: final reminder

Hello everyone,

Sorry to bother you all with this 3rd reminder, but there's still 1 day to go before pledge manager are closed and 2 days to go before your credit cards are charged on BackerKit.

There are still just over twenty people who haven't validated their address and paid their shipping fees (but over 200 people have done so, thank you for that :). Without this information, we won't be able to send you your rewards !

If you have not received, lost or deleted the email containing your BackerKit link, please contact us (via any means, KS messaging, email, discord, website...) so that we can resend the link to you.

Payments not made after the closing date will have to be made directly via our online store on the FourPlay website. Please contact us for more details :)
