TCG Goddess : The Convergence

Hello everyone,

We were expecting some important news from the printer this week before writing to you, but we didn't get it in the end. The cards aren't completely finished yet, as the Sylvania era still has to be finished. According to the news from the printer about 10 days ago, the Sylvania cards were finished, but not the boxes.
Apparently, there was a 10-day delay during the month of March, due to a machine problem.

All other products are finished, display, playmat, sleeves, etc...
The merchandise should have been shipped by next week, but with the 10-day delay, the Sylvania-era packaging that must surely be in progress, and since we didn't get the product photos (which we'd normally expect this week), I'm guessing the products won't be able to ship next week, but maybe the week after.

We should receive, within a few days, photos of all the final products and the shipping date from China. At the time of writing, therefore, we'd say we should have the products in the course of May, which shifts the planned shipping date by about 15 days, perhaps a little more if customs takes a while to release the goods.

We can still show you the playmats, finished over a month ago. They're exceptional, compared with other playmats we've seen or touched, they're very thick, quite heavy, and the reinforced edges give them excellent strength.

We'd have liked to show you photos of the cards, boxes and boosters today, and to announce the shipment of the products, but that's finally for the next news, which we'll send you as soon as we have the expected information!

February update

Hi everybody,

Only good news for this update and nice things to show you !

All the design step is now finished and all files have been sent to the printer since last week. Next week, they should start to print. Regarding the quantity (of cards, binders, sleeves, playmats, boxes...) the printing process will take between 4 and 5 weeks. They will than send us the products, at the end of march, with 30 days of shipping time by boat, so the expected schedule (end of April) should be okay on the whole :)

Bellow, you will find some new cards, this will probably be the last cards we reveal, to let you the pleasure to discover the rest :)
You will also find in this update some previews of the boosters and displays.

At the end of the news, you will find a short video to let you see how the final products looks like... and I spoil you a little bit to tell you that THEY ARE GORGEOUS ! We are really excited to see them between your hands, in tournement or just for your personnal collection :)

Another important point : since we received the final sample, we decided to change the design of the display and of the booster. On the video, you will see a black display (Sylvania edition) and a white booster (Divinia Edition). We wanted to try both styles and we decided to keep the white design. Display will looks like this :

Plus, on each Display you will find the list of all cards of this era for the current season, with the Goddess name and her unique serial number. Here is an example with the Fantasia era :

To finish this news, we want to remind that a dozen of you didn't fill the Pledge Manager on BackerKit and don't answer to our emails. We don't have the missing adresses and the shipping fees are not covered, so we won't be able to ship your parcel. To solve this situation, just send us a message (by email, KS, Discord, website...) and we will send you a payment link.

Very last thing : please try to double-check before reporting us as fraudulent payment. Stripe makes an automatic refund and take back from our account your shipping cost plus $23/20€ as dispute fees.
Unfortunatly, we can't afford to lose this amount on one payment, so if you suspend your payment by mistake, we'll have to ask you not only to pay your shipping costs, but also to refund the disput fees.

That's said, let's show you the good part ! By the way, if you notice that the cards below have no ranks, that's normal since this designs are extracted from the final designs, and the ranks is added later, with hot foil stamping. Plus, on the cards below, the serial number are volunteerly generic and fake.

Pledge manager closure: final reminder

Hello everyone,

Sorry to bother you all with this 3rd reminder, but there's still 1 day to go before pledge manager are closed and 2 days to go before your credit cards are charged on BackerKit.

There are still just over twenty people who haven't validated their address and paid their shipping fees (but over 200 people have done so, thank you for that :). Without this information, we won't be able to send you your rewards !

If you have not received, lost or deleted the email containing your BackerKit link, please contact us (via any means, KS messaging, email, discord, website...) so that we can resend the link to you.

Payments not made after the closing date will have to be made directly via our online store on the FourPlay website. Please contact us for more details :)

As a reminder, we'll be at Japan Anime Focal in Luxembourg this weekend, and we'll post the next news right afterwards,

Pledge Manager and minor update

Hello dear backers,

This is not the February update, but rather a quick reminder:

- There are still around 40 people who haven't completed the BackerKit survey. There's still about 1 week to go before the end of the post-campaign (February 15 deadline), but without having filled in your addresses and paid your shipping costs, we won't be able to send you your package.
Hand delivery: Even if you want to pick up your parcel by yourself, please still answer the survey or we can't know how you plan to receive your parcel. You just have to select "Local Pick up" in the COUNTRY list. The shipping cost will become 0€.
If you haven't received an email from BackerKit, or if you've lost or deleted it, please contact us.
Please avoid paying by Paypal as much as possible, use Stripe (credit cards) as a priority. We gave explanations about this in the last news of January.

- The schedule is going according to plan and the cards, boxes, binders, playmats and sleeves will be printed at the end of February and during the first 2 weeks of March. After that, the goods will be shipped to us from China, with a transit time of 40 days, so we'll have the cards by the end of April. Packages will be dispatched immediately upon receipt, so you should all receive your cards by mid-May.
Of course, we'll keep you informed if there are any changes.

- We've just received the final samples of the cards, and they look fantastic! We didn't have time to take photos and show you everything we received, but this news was urgent (end of the BackerKit) so we'll show you everything in the main February update, coming soon!
We received a binder, a playmat, a display, boosters and, of course, the cards! We can't wait to show you all!
We'll also be taking the opportunity to continue revealing new cards.

- Finally, we'd like to announce that we'll be at the Anime Focal festival in Luxembourg next week, on Saturday February 17 and Sunday February 18, 2024. Of course, we won't have the cards in stock, but the samples will enable us to continue introducing you to the game and taking pre-orders.

Opening of the pledge manager

Hello everyone!

Today at 9:00 pm (Paris time) / 3:00 pm (New York time), the pledge manager will be open to everyone on BackerKit, for around 15 days ! You'll all receive an automatic email, and all you have to do is click on the link to be redirected to BackerKit. Your pledge and add-ons will already be entered, along with the amount you've already paid via Kickstarter.

The purpose of the pledge manager is twofold:
- To collect your addresses so you can pay your shipping costs
- To give you access to the latest add-ons at exclusive Kickstarter prices.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Kickstarter discounted rates will be maintained throughout the post-campaign period on BackerKit. Certain add-ons, such as the Goddess: the Convergence - Season 1 binders, will be produced in limited editions and will not be reprinted, in order to guarantee unique and prestigious quality products and to offer them exclusively to you, our Kickstarter backers!

Another point to emphasize: our estimated shipping costs were posted online at the start of the campaign, on December 5, in a table that can still be consulted on the Kickstarter website. Unfortunately, on January 1, 2024, the costs of most carriers increased by €1 (for local shipping) and up to €5 (for WW shipping) for standard delivery in certain countries. We have kept pace with this increase, but have kept it to a minimum, around 2€. We do our utmost to ensure that your entire experience with us goes as smoothly as possible, and we thank you for your understanding.

Finally, one last point:
Stripe is usually the only payment method available on BackerKit. The addition of another payment method, such as Paypal, entails additional charges of 6 to 8% of all sums paid for the creators, who have no choice but to impose them on backers by adding them to the shipping costs. For our part, given that some countries don't have access to Stripe, we've decided to add Paypal without deferring its cost to your shipping costs, but we would like to ask you, as far as possible, to use Stripe only, as long as you have no other option. For information, the massive use of Paypal in this post-campaign would represent an unforeseen cost of around 1400€ for us, which could slow down the smooth running of certain stages. But now you're knowing this, we know we can count on you!
